Google provides services to Internet users around the world. While currently there are Internet users globally, more people are still not connected to the Internet and have not experienced the wonderful things that the Internet can bring to their lives. Within the Next Billion Users team, we understand that there are some basic primitives like access and payments that are necessary to drive the growth of internet economies in NBU countries.
The Google Station vision is to build delightful mobile experiences for data challenged users, backed by fast and reliable networks offering instant access to the internet. We launched in the Philippines earlier this year and have exceeded our initial expectations for the deployment. Globally, we have ambitious goals to expand to new NBU countries and venues this year.
In this role, you'll manage and help expand both internal and external relationships. Additionally, you're an advisor and consultant, as well as a client advocate within Google. You provide Google-caliber client service, research and market analysis, and anticipate how decisions are made, persistently explore and uncover the business needs of Google's key partners and their advertisers. You also understand how our range of Google Ads product offerings can grow their businesses.

As part of this effort, you will work closely with engineering teams around the world to build great products and features.
Minimum qualifications:
- BA/BS degree or equivalent practical experience.
- 4 years of relevant experience in online sales, advertising, marketing, and business-development.
- Experience with online media buying, selling processes and the ecosystem.
Preferred qualifications:
- Experience in sales, with curiosity, executive presence and a positive attitude.
- Excellent business sense, problem solving, project management and analytical skills.
- Ability to be flexible/adaptable in exercising judgment in a dynamic environment.
- Motivated, able to work independently and lead through change, comfortable with ambiguity while staying focused on business priorities.
- Ability to communicate and present to C-level clients, and foster relationships (internally/externally).
- Willingness to travel.
- Work collaboratively to identify and pitch advertising opportunities that drive growth for NBU Products; generate business plans to define your business strategies and tactics, and structure/package analysis, strategies, and recommendations into deliverable communications.
- Advise advertisers and clients on how to maximize their campaign results using Google’s unique solutions; manage and provide training to customers and agencies; identify and address client challenges.
- Become a trusted advisor and provide excellent customer service to Google's advertisers and clients; Conduct campaign analysis and ensure that our advertisers are satisfied with goals and business growth; review clients’ investments and results.
- Develop Advertising trade marketing promotion programs; train local Sales teams as needed.
- Work across other SEA NBU countries outside the Philippines including Vietnam, Thailand and Indonesia.
