Math Subject Coordinator

Job Description:
TRAINING WILL START ON FEBRUARY 2020 KEY RESPONSIBILITIES: Prepare and create learning opportunities for Instructors and Center assistants, including the following activities: Creating with teammates the instructional story line based on the company’s annual direction Conducting research through Center visits and consultations with Instructors Providing assistance to field staff in researching, preparing materials for and conducting learning opportunities Prepare and administer Instructors’ and completers’ tests Assist in coordination of voluntary study groups or mentoring groups and/or monitor instructor meetings related to Kumon Math Instruction. Consult with Area Development Managers to schedule center visits and sharpening observation skills and knowledge on study situation of Kumon students Assist instructors, staff and assistants regarding worksheet content and instruction concerns Minimum Qualifications:
Bachelor’s Degree holder of any course (having a major in Mathematics is an advantage) Has interest in research, writing, and creation of training and seminar materials High proficiency in Math Can demonstrate a positive and proactive ability in a wide range of activities Able to communicate clearly and effectively both orally and in writing Ability to work in a team and at the same time, work on own initiative without supervision Able to travel extensively locally/regionally Computer literate in a variety of packages including Word, PowerPoint and Excel, and other video editing software
