We have been building powerful partnerships for children for over 80 years, and are now active in more than 70 countries.Plan International invites driven, competent and committed professionals to fill the role of Finance Staff US-AID funded Marawi Response Project to be based in Makati City.The Finance Staff provides support in the areas of VAT reporting, expense accruals, finance document reviews and, assistance to other accounting-related functions. This role is for 21 months.Some of the key responsibilities are: 1.) Identify and compute VAT payments on all the assigned project's transactions disbursed; 2.) Prepares and submits monthly VAT summary reports timely and as requested; 3.) Prepares monthly accruals for the assigned project; 4.) Reviews request for payment packages for the project, and 5.) Maintain the storage and maintenance of SAP transaction files.QUALIFICATIONS:University graduate in Accounting.
Relevant training in computer operations and financial management
Has a minimum of one year of work experience in the areas of accounting or business administration; preferably with a non-government organization.
Has experience and/or exposure to SAP financial and procurement process or any business software
