It Assistant

Job Description:
Install and configure computer hardware, operating systems, and applications Set up new user’s accounts and profiles and dealing with password issues Provide timely technical support and teach users how to utilize computers correctly Maintain and repair technological equipment or peripheral devices Install well-functioning LAN/WAN and other networks and manage components Manage security options and software in computers and networks to maintain privacy and protection Provide support including procedural documentation and relevant reports Follow diagrams and written instructions to repair a fault or set up a system Maintain cleanliness of the IT infrastructure both hardware and software system Monitor if backup are properly done by the user and assist them on doing backups Maintain the record for technician equipment and tools inventory Keep records of repairs and fixes for future reference Perform regular upgrades to ensure systems remain updated Perform other duties as requested by the management Talk to users through a series of actions, either face-to-face or over the telephone for setting up systems or resolve issues Troubleshoot system and network problems and diagnose and solve hardware or software faults, replace parts if required Minimum Qualifications:
Bachelor’s/College Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or relevant field Proven experience as Computer Technician or similar role In-depth knowledge of hardware and software Experience with LAN/WAN and other networks Good knowledge of internet security and data privacy principles Thorough knowledge of troubleshooting system Exceptional organizing and time-management skills Relevant certifications will be an advantage
