Jr. Business Analyst

Job Description:
Overall Purpose of the Role:


Jr. Business Analyst responsibilities include working with project teams and business analysts in reviewing, analyzing and evaluating end user needs.


Key Responsibilities:


Assist in determining objectives by studying product functions; gathering information; evaluating output requirements and formats Assist in workflow charts and diagrams; studying product capabilities; writing specifications Improve product by studying current practices; designing modifications Define project requirements by identifying project milestones, phases and elements; forming project team; establishing project budget Prepare technical reports by collecting, analyzing and summarizing information and trends Contribute to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed Validate resource requirements and develop cost estimate models Assist in interpreting, evaluating and interrelating research data and develop integrated business analyses and projections for incorporation into strategic decision-making Perform daily, weekly and monthly reviews and analyses of current products using metrics and reports Understand and communicate the impact of any changes Actively participate in the implementation of approved changes Create informative, actionable and repeatable reporting that highlights relevant product trends and opportunities for improvement Minimum Qualifications:
Qualifications:


1-2 years proven work experience as a Business Analyst or similar role Understanding of full product life cycle Good knowledge in reporting, Python and SQL data skills Data analysis relating to app and web performance Good knowledge of project management skills Excellent verbal and written communication skills Degree in Computer Science, Information Science, Business, Science, Math or relevant field Other desirable skills such as: Visio, Web Analytics, SQL, New Relic, Data Dog, Python, Prince 2, ScrumMaster
