Job description
The roleThis is a hands-on position that requires working knowledge of accounting disciplines that includes stewardship over company’s business and assets, compliance to the group’s policies and procedures and involvement in strategic planning and add value to the decision making processes.ReportingThis role will report to the Head of MP FinanceKey tasks and responsibilitiesMarketplace Finance including revenue recognition, P&L deep dive/reporting and reconciliation of accounts with sellers and timely settlement with sellers.Provide prompt response to sellers’ enquiries and subsequent follow-upWeekly cashflow forecastComputation of our fees chargeable and expenses due to sellersAccrual of fees and expenses at month-end.Assisting in Tax return on quarterly basisProfit and loss analysis for new commercial initiativesIdentifying improvement areas, automation and efficiencies with current work processes.Other ad-hoc projects.
