Pollution Control Safety Officer

Job Summary
- PCO and Safety Officer shall implement safety and health environment measures to avoid risk and all forms danger in all activities and disseminate all relevant and
accurate information to all personnel.
Job Responsibility
- Coordinates with quality team and site head for regular audit schedules
- Disseminates standards and expectations in terms of quality and safety
- Conduct regular audits
- Report within the reasonable time the breakdown of any pollution control facility and the control date of completion of repair and operation
- Assist the plant head in direct oversight of the department's daily environmental operations as he will be the company's subject matter expert with regards to
pollution control and monitoring
- Compliance to government permit
- Monitor waste water management system compliance, compliant with DENR and LLDA standards
- Must be well versed with DENR rules, regulation and policies related to pollution control and monitoring
- Ensures 100% compliance and submit needed reports to other environmental regulating government agencies
- Ensures facilities are covered by necessary permits and license
- Monitor and see to the renewal of permits and registration requirements of the company
Job Qualifications
- Candidate must possess at least Bachelor's/College /Professional License in Engineering (Chemical, Mechanical, Sanitary , Environmental/
Health/Safety/Management or equivalent specifically related to risk and safety
- At least 3 year(s) of working experience as a pollution control officer and safety officer gained from an FMCG/Food Industry
- Preferably supervisor/5 yrs & up experience employee specializing in Engineering - Environmental/Health/Safet or equivalent
- Willing to travel to different sites from time to time
- Preferably completed the basic PCO training course and has a valid certification
- Must be knowledgeable in handling environmental concerns and resolutions
