Job Description:
Position Summary This position is responsible for the implementation of strategic plans and initiatives for the Music Management Group from artist acquisition, management and development.
Duties and Responsibilities. Monitors artists' bookings and engagements. Prepares and updates the Master Calendar for all artists to serve as basis for all inquiries. Coordinates with ABS-CBN and its subsidiaries for potential bookings and artist requirements. Deals with external clients such as show producers, talent coordinators and agents, ad agencies, and brand managers for all booking inquiries of the artists (e.g., talent fee, extent of service, restrictions, special provisions, and other logistics requirements). Prepares Deal Endorsement Memo to trigger contract preparation with Legal. Accompanies artist in various engagements and acts as official representative of the artist and Star Music to external clients.
Ensures the proper performance of the artist’s responsibilities. Ensures the physical and emotional well-being of the artist. Recommends potential talents to grow in the roster of Music Management Group to create a sustainable competitive advantage for the company. Implements talent acquisition strategies, organization, activities, e.g. Himig Handog, reality shows, that produces a healthy and continuous pipeline of talents for the organization Provides recommendation on the best way an artist can be positioned in the market, including branding, business potential, image and type of music to be recorded and performed. Promotes harmonious business relationship with the artists and their significant representatives (e.g., parents for minors) Handles the effective management of budget and P&L.
Ensures completeness of documents for all requests for payment, reimbursements, and others Prepares and checks liquidation of expenses. Ensures compliance to company policies, guidelines and procedures. Performs other tasks may be assigned from time to time. Minimum Qualifications:
Has an eye and ear for talent; can identify artist that will appeal to target market. Had a good familiarity on the talent market and where talents operate in. Has the ability to recommend the position of the talent in the market including branding, business potential, image, type of music Has good oral and written communication skills Ability to work in a team fostered environment. Ability to work in a multi-tasked environment. Ability to prioritize and organize work.
