Job Description:
The UGR Monitoring and Tracking Staff will assist the Monitoring and Tracking Officer in the different aspects of data collection, processing and analysis, report-generation, and distribution as well as database construction and maintenance as they relate to the University's internationalization activities and strategies.
Data Collection, Processing and Analysis - S/he will tasked with coordinating with the Office of International Relations and the University's various offices to obtain data and help analyze them while ensuring their integrity and confidentiality at all times in accordance with Data Protection Policy of the University. Database Construction and Management - S/he will construction databases as required (using excel or special database management software) and help ensure that these databases entries are accurate and are up-to-date at all times.S/he will work in consultation with specialists from the IT Resource and Management Office as required. Submission for Ranking - S/he will assists in the preparation of the requirements and data for the international ranking submissions. S/he will likewise provide updates and other support that offices or committees looking into university rankings may require. Information Dissemination - S/he will contribute to efforts in communicating and promoting to various stakeholders vital and up-to-date information, reports, and initiatives in support that offices or committees looking into university rankings may require. General Support for Database Use - S/he will help deliver capacity building trainings and information for database users primarily in the Office of the Vice President for University and Global Relations and the Office of International Relations. Minimum Qualifications:
Bachelor's Degree preferably in Statistics With 3 years of similar or related work experience in an academic institution Knowledge in MS Excel, Word, MS Access, other database management program/application Must have experience in collecting and processing data Familiarity with various data collection methodologies and tools Advance levels of spreadsheet or database skills and other statistical and mathematical tools/software would be an advantage
