Vendor Master Management: Create, maintain, update supplier info in systems
Monitor and execute all transactions according to internal controls and policies
Communicate and coordinate actions among all internal and external stake-holders to effectively assure supply of goods and services
Liaise with strategic buying teams, providing information & analytical support in alignment with their goals on portfolio management and savings
Drive continuous improvement / process optimization
Performing a wide range of work requests that are assigned / requested by strategic buying team using broader knowledge of Sourcing, Procurement & Supply Chain via Corteva systems which includes
Creation, Amendment, Renewal & Management of Contracts/ Agreements for the various commodities which involves working with strategic buyers, suppliers to get need attributes etc.
Manages Spot Purchases for certain commodities under the approved threshold Sourcing the Supplier as per Company strategy, Receiving Quotations from Suppliers, negotiating with Suppliers on Price & Payment Terms (as per process), Creating Purchase Orders.
Handling Invoice Disputes and resolving the same to make sure Suppliers get paid on time / excess payments are not made.
Qualifications
Bachelor degree
Excellent verbal & written English
Sourcing, supply chain or service center experience is needed.
Skills and experience in handling issues
Strong skills in Microsoft excel, word & PPT
Knowledge and experience with SAP is a plus
Solid interpersonal/facilitation skills
Team player
Good Multitasking , prioritization, time management skills
Sense of efficiency, urgency and priority
Analytical and negotiation skills and ability to influence supplier on mindset change is a plus
Ability to work effectively in a cross functional and cross business environment.
