Job Brief: We are looking for a Head of Business and Market Intelligence to create and manage Market Research, BI and analytics solutions that turn data into knowledge.


In this role, you should have a background in data and business analysis. You should be an analytical and excellent communicator. If you also have business acumen and problem-solving aptitude, we’d like to meet you.


Ultimately, you will enhance our business intelligence system to help us make better decisions.


What is it like to be our Head of Business and Market Intelligence? As a BI & Analytics Team, you’ll define and implement BI & analytics strategies, enabling DANA to uncover actionable insights and opportunities from our existing data. You will be in charge for the day to day analytical requirements of the BI team, communicating issues, suggesting remedial action and improvements where appropriate. You will proactively suggest improvements for visualization, generating charts/tables that give insightful views of key business issues and opportunities. You’ll be accountable for data integrity and quality, ensuring it is continuously maintained and improved. Evaluate and improve existing BI systems Collaborate with teams to integrate systems Develop and execute database queries and conduct analyses Create visualizations and reports for requested projects Develop and update technical documentation Minimum Qualifications:
What criteria are we looking for? Proven experience as a Business Intelligence or Data Scientist Business experience is preferred Background in data warehouse design (e.g. dimensional modeling) and data mining In-depth understanding of database management systems, online analytical processing, and market research tools Familiarity with BI technologies (e.g. Microsoft Power BI or Oracle BI) In-depth knowledge of Microsoft Excel, Word, and Powerpoint Familiar with one or more languages for querying (e.g. SQL, PostgreSQL) Experience with Big Data/Analytics Platform like R, Python, SAS Experience with BI tools like Tableau, Looker or similar. Proven abilities to take initiative and be innovative Analytical mind with a problem-solving aptitude BSc/BA in Computer Science, Engineering or relevant field
