The Role
Due to growth in our outsourcing business, we are looking for multiple developers in full-time positions in our Innovation and Solutions practice. In this role you will maintain and develop new solutions to meet client requirements on the BenefitConnect core product, our proprietary, highly sophisticated and user-friendly software, built on the .Net framework. You will have the opportunity to:

Systems programming using Visual Studio, C#, ASP.Net, MVC, JavaScript, jQuery, and MS SQL Server.
Design and code solutions based on team input using specified programming languages, tools, and techniques
Deliver unit-tested systems in a timely fashion that meet requirements.
Work with team to define detailed solutions for specific requirements.
Provide analysis for technical solutions based on requirements.
Provide consultative services on technical issues to clients and internal project teams.
Participate in development of system test plans.
Troubleshoot technical issues.
Keep abreast of latest developments regarding effective procedures, methods, and tools in software development and testing.
Work closely with scrum team members in a partnership to deliver the best results to the client.
Demonstrate natural ease and effectiveness when dealing with clients/colleagues at all levels
Assist team members in whatever way necessary to reach successful completion of the tasks at hand
Communicate effectively with product owner and project teams to ensure solutions are complete and clearly communicated to the Health and Pension practice.
Ensure thorough understanding of system functionality requirements prior to beginning development by probing for additional information as needed.
Be available and responsive to system issues.
Improve team performance by managing the identification and documentation of project scope changes.
Work with the team to monitor progress against all sprint deliverables and development daily plans to complete the work.
Manage and set personal capacity to the scrum team.
Monitor estimation process and work delivery to determine opportunities for improvement in planning and grooming meeting.
The Requirements
5- 8 years development experience in Visual Studio, MS SQL Server, Microsoft .Net, (especially C#, ASP.Net and MVC). Relevant client-server development experience.
Degree (Associates or Bachelors) in computer science, management information systems or related area
Strong mathematical and data modelling skills
Strong analytical and problem solving skills.
Able to translate complex business requirements and models into efficient, scalable and maintainable C# solutions
An understanding of and ability to apply common software design and architectural patterns
Commitment to developing testable code within a continuous integration and automated testing environment
Willingness to work in a fast-paced collaborative team environment that has tight deadlines.
Ability to learn and evaluate new tools, concepts, and challenges quickly.
Client service focus and flexibility in supporting client requests.
Commitment to quality and continuous improvement.
Strong written and verbal communication skills.
Experience in MongoDB, preferred but not required
Azure experience is a plus but not required
Experience working with and configuring continuous integration, automated testing, and automated monitoring system is preferred but not required.
