Key Duties and Responsibilities:

Seek suitable suppliers and contractors in coordination with users for required materials, supplies and services.
Negotiate for best prices on purchased goods and contracted services with the end goal of deriving best ultimate value.
Accreditation of new suppliers and materials.
Maintain records of prices of all materials (ingredients and packaging).
Coordinate with Planners/Logistics counterparts on materials requirement plan and delivery schedules.
Follow-up/expedite deliveries with suppliers.
Determine and recommend acceptable substitute materials with the approval of the requesting department/operations.
Coordinate with Finance Department for suppliers check payments.
