Come and join a fantastic team in a Software Development role, which offers huge career potential.Deltek Engineering in Makati is responsible for creating new and innovative software solutions for our clients. We are a mixed team of Developers, Testers and Helpdesk Analysts. We work across a range of products and technology platforms and collaborate with co-workers across Deltek worldwide. Our primary focus is the Deltek PIM (Project Information Management) solution but we also have exciting mobile products as well as Deltek’s Kona product (which is a multi-tenanted cloud based collaboration product used by our employees and by our clients).The environment in the engineering department at Deltek Makati is modern, with break out areas to discuss ideas and an open plan layout to encourage collaboration. We work in small teams, with a focus on agility, best practice and quality whilst delivering to tight (but not unreasonable) timescales. We pride ourselves on our open and encouraging environment and have a great track record of bringing new members into the team and helping them to become productive in a very short space of time. We provide mentoring and on the job training, as well as formal training where required. Reporting to the team's Lead Developer you will primarily work with C#, SQL and JavaScript languages, as well as with other members of the Help Desk, Product Management and Quality Assurance teams.
Qualifications
To be successful in this role you will need to be able to demonstrate the following:
You will have completed a science-based degree (e.g. preferably Computer Science or similar) with some content related to software development (ideally in C#).
You’ll have a good ability to perform individually and as part of a team
You will be proficient with C#, SQL, HTML, CSS and JavaScript
You will be familiar with the Agile Scrum development methodology
You will possess strong problem-solving, time, and project management skills
Be proficient in MS Office Suite
Possess strong interpersonal telephone and written/electronic communications skills
A 'can-do' attitude and strong work ethic are key in this role.
