PasigReport ToManager Job Summary As part of a global privacy team, the Privacy Program Assistant Manager/Manager will support Teleperformance worldwide data privacy program and manage key work streams. This will require excellent project management skills, the ability to collaborate across multiple functions, and the initiative to work alongside our global teams to help improve and sustain our privacy compliance program.
Duties/Responsibilities The Privacy Program Assistant Manager/Managers responsibilities will focus on global privacy matters and will provide functional and technical expertise to the Chief and the Regional Privacy Officers, and other business and functional leaders. The Privacy Program Assistant Manager/ Manager maintains knowledge of security and privacy standards, regulatory standards and legislation that are applicable to the security and data privacy aspects of our business. He or she recommends appropriate changes to existing policies, procedures and controls as required due to changes in regulatory, security and privacy standards, and legislation.
Responsibilities:Support the business in updating and maintaining an accurate data inventory and record of all personal data processing activitiesReview and assess privacy risks via project-based Privacy Reviews or Privacy Impact AssessmentsSupport Data Subject Rights response processSupport Privacy Incident Response, including privacy incident reporting, recommendations for resolution, mitigation and, in collaboration with SVP Privacy and Regional Privacy Officer, execution of any required notices to individuals and government officialSupport Merger and Acquisition integration, including Privacy Policy adoption, Inter Company Agreement adoption, Binding Corporate Rules adoption, Cookie Guidance adoption, CNIL reporting and related project managementMaintain regulator-ready toolkits for response to regulator inquiriesManage and administer Country and Functional Privacy Leads networks, including assisting with communications, materials, and trainingMonitor and manage Privacy mailboxesSupport review and updating of existing Privacy Policies and NoticesDevelop and provide training and education to clients related to the privacy programBuild and maintain effective working relationships with internal and external stakeholder groupsAssist with tools evaluation and implementationHelp serve as department webmaster and communications managerAdditional Responsibilities:Project management for data retentionProject management for specific country data privacy compliance programs, including the development of privacy manuals, working on notices and consents, records of processing filings and updates, annual incident report, vendor contracts, due diligence and oversightOther duties as requiredCandidate should possess the following skills and attributes:Uses business knowledge, innovative thinking, and sound judgment in the solution of problems or the pursuit of business opportunitiesAbility to consolidate information from various sources, including feedback from others to reach sound decisionsConsiders the ultimate impact of decisions and actions on internal and external customersSets effective work goals, establishes priorities, and plans well in order to produce quality workExecutes effectively by using resources efficiently, meeting deadlines, and keeping others informed of work plans and progress toward goalsAbility to work in a fast-paced environment, leveraging key skill-sets such as problem solving, initiative and action orientationSelf-motivated to deliver work product that contributes to a team work product Qualifications: 3+ years work experience in privacy, in-house or regulatory agency strongly preferredUnderstanding of Global Privacy Laws & General Data Protection RegulationsExcellent written and verbal communication skills, including ability to communicate clearly and concisely with a variety of internal audiencesAdvanced knowledge of privacy risk management methodologies, including privacy risk or privacy impact assessments, product counseling, or other privacy risk and compliance approachesCurrent IAPP certification or willingness to certify within 6 months of hireUnderstanding of privacy laws, regulations, self-regulatory regimes, and industry best practicesPreferred Qualifications:Minimum of 3 years in a similar job roleIn-depth regulatory, privacy and security experience including:GDPRSpecific country Data Privacy laws and regulations including the Philippines Data Privacy Act and implementing regulations
