Responsibilities:
Design, develop and maintain automated test scripts from Functional and Technical designs
Review and understand Business Requirement, Functional, and Technical Design documents and come up with a Test Plan
Conduct new feature testing, regression testing and bug fix testing
Participate in defect and customer issue resolution process
Perform peer automated test code reviews and optimize test code execution
Perform project tasks and solve problems independentlyQUALIFICATIONSCandidate must possess at least a MS/BS in Computer Science or any IT related course5-8 years experience with software quality assurance and testing methodologiesExperience in automated testing is requiredSolid practical knowledge of programmingKnowledge of JAVA/J2EE and SQLExperience in Cloud Computing technologyFamiliarity with Agile/Scrum methodologyFamiliarity with three-tiered applicationsAbility to quickly master new technologiesMust have good problem solving and troubleshooting skillsExcellent interpersonal skills working in a team environmentExcellent written and verbal communication skillsSelf-motivated, capable of working independently when neededOrganized and reliable, able to efficiently manage multiple tasksERP/Financial related knowledge would be a big plus
Detailed Description and Job Requirements
Responsible for developing, applying and maintaining quality standards for company products with adherence to both internal and external standards. Develops and executes software test plans. Analyzes and writes test standards and procedures. Maintains documentation of test results. Analyzes test results and recommends corrective actions.As a member of the technical/process QA division, you will develop quality standards, control methods and theories to be utilized during manufacturing, testing and inspection to access product quality. Develop standards and procedures to provide quality guidance methods.Duties and tasks are varied and complex needing independent judgment. Fully competent in own area of expertise. May have project lead role and or supervise lower level personnel. BS or MS degree or equivalent experience relevant to functional area. 4 years of software engineering or related experience.
