Oceanfreight Operations Manager

Job Description:
Directs and coordinates the Transactional Operations (pickup and delivery, documentation) Monitors Transactional Operations and ensures constant optimization to deliver maximum productivity Ensures compliance with group business strategy and local business environment, adhering to regulations and internal procedures Manages interface with Customer Service, Product, and Global Service Centers, if required Minimum Qualifications:
2-3 years work experience in Oceanfreight operations in a managerial capacity Extensive knowledge of Oceanfreight Export/Import Operations and Customs requirements Proven track record in people management role (leadership, motivation and people skills) Easily capable of making well informed decisions High degree of commitment to excellence and analytical Knowledgeable in Cargowise One system (an advantage) Excellent written and verbal command of the English language
