Details of the offer

Responsible in designing and implementing Data/Voice connectivity solution for GDN clients

Highlights any delivery issues to the deployment manager

Handles multi location connectivity solutions independently and communicates clearly at multiple levels of expertise

Obtains GDCN security management approval for voice and data network designs

Deploys the solution as per the company security standards

Coordinates implementation of the voice and data network design among multiple teams for local changes deployment

Ensures the deliverables are completed as per the timelines provided on the project tracker

Provides weekly status report for the projects being supported

Provides weekly time report of hours charged on various projects

Acts as level 3 escalation point to provide the support for the operational issues

Escalates to the deployment manager to engage right level of resources for troubleshooting

Deploys the overall GDCN voice and data environment as requested by GDN management

Bachelor degree holder in Information Technology, Computer Science, Engineering or other relevant field

Strong technical background and analytical skills for appropriate designs and timely delivery of products

Operational experience with many or all of the following

Cisco Routers, Switches, Firewalls

Netgate Gateways,

Network Technologies or tools including

Solarwinds NPM and NCM,

MRTG or CACTI or Netflow

Microsoft Forefront UAG

WAN Accelerators

Load Balancing or F5

MPLS and IPVN

Remote Access

IP Management and DNS Management

Support and Incident Management

Change Management

Capacity and Service Management

Ability to contribute and work as a team member

Ability to work creatively and analytically in a problem-solving environment

Good oral and written communication skills

Excellent customer service skills

Excellent interpersonal skills

Good to have
CCNA, CCNP, ITIL certification
