Our respected client is seeking a professional with strong background in sales information analysis for the job of National Sales Account Planner. The job is based in Pasig City, Philippines.
Job summary
The position acts as the Sales Information Officer, working with the National Sales Information, Systems and Process Improvements Head, and Sales Director, in monitoring the total area operations, identifying proactively the key issues and opportunities per area, and arriving at efficient, effective, and strategic business decisions and solutions. He/ she will be working with the Sales Account Planner for Luzon, Visayas and Mindanao and will report to the National Sales Director.
Key job responsibilities include:
Initiates improvements and simplification in report templates (i.e, MS Excel, SAP BI, EDS, etc) to serve as guide in data gathering, and for easy organization and analysis of data and information of and MNC Sales and Distributor Personnel
Conducts National and Local economic analysis through primary (e.g., surveys, interviews) and secondary (e.g., local government efforts and data, economic variables from
NEDA, NSCB, NSO, and other recognized agencies) to better monitor the playing field and anticipate fluctuations in demand.
Conducts fieldworks, such as consumer and trade surveys and interviews, to gather qualitative feedback on new products, MNC and competitor SKUs’ offtake, brand-related concerns, area peculiarities, and feedback on BTL activities.
Regularly attends the business review and variance analysis of the Area (i.e., Sources of Growth, VMRs, Monthly Business Reviews, Special Reviews, Area Plan) in order to:
Guide or coach on the Sales Analysis;
Give inputs on how to make the Sources of Growth and Monthly Business Reviews and VMRs more productive;
Monitor the performances versus the (annual) plans and targets and quickly identify the forwarding actions; and
Coordinates and constantly gives feedback to Brand, Business Development, Logistics Department as well as the Top Management (e.g., Sales Director, Marketing Directors, VP) on the key reasons for variances, new developments, local industry trends and economic scenario, and other relevant information that may affect the outcome of the company.
Forecasts annual sales targets, new product pipeline quantities (in coordination with Supply Network and Brand), and other sales- related projections for Total Philippines
Assists the Sales Director in checking and validating sales and distributor costs
Consolidation of Expenses versus Approved Budget
Key job requirements include:
Bachelor’s Degree
Four Years (min.) experience in sales information analysis
Preferably from FMCG companies
Must have customer relations, collaborative working relationship with customers, peers, and other departments, cross-functional influencing
Must be Computer literate, self-motivated and creative
Must be willing to travel
