As a Multimedia/Graphic Designer, your primary responsibility is to design a wide variety of materials (such as posters, graphic website elements, logos, brochures, newsletters, presentation graphics, explainer videos, social media video ads, etc.) to visually communicate ideas and information across digital and offline media. You will be responsible for managing the graphic design process, simple video production projects, and ensuring visual design appeal and effectiveness of the Internal Results’ website www.internalresults.com. Other responsibilities include:
Planning design concepts and ideas by studying relevant information and materials
Illustrating concepts by designing examples of art arrangement, size, type, style, and submitting them for approval
Preparing finished artwork by operating the necessary hardware, software, and tools
Contributing to marketing team efforts by accomplishing tasks as needed
Coordination with other marketing team members (copywriters, web designers, social media managers, email managers, external agencies) about layout and design to ensure that all designs align with the brand image while also meeting usability and website standards.
Creating a wide range of graphics and layouts for product illustrations, company logos, and websites with software such as Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, etc.)
Reviewing final layouts and suggesting improvements where necessary.
Creating and maintaining the company’s visual branding book
Managing creative content materials and videos
Collaborate with web developers for website visual design (of website pages, landing pages)
Collaborate with web developers or development agency to ensure web front-end and back-end elements work visually together as intended
Keeping up with Graphic Design trends and developments
Ongoing reporting to management
Ensuring individual KPIs are met each month
Degree in Digital Design, Graphic Design, or related field
At least 3 years’ experience in a similar role with demonstrable graphic design skills and a strong portfolio to showcase expertise and creativity
In-depth knowledge of visual design and publishing tools, including Photoshop, InDesign Quark, and Illustrator.
A strong eye for visual composition and balance
Ability to clearly present design ideas and concepts for campaigns and projects
Effective time management skills and the ability to meet deadlines
Understanding of marketing, production, website design, corporate/brand identity, advertisements, and multimedia design.
Team player with exceptional organizational and technical skills
Good communication and interpersonal skills
Knowledge and relevant experience in video creation, storyboarding, and editing (such as animated explainer videos, case studies, or testimonial videos) a definite advantage
Knowledge of web design, coding, and implementation (including wireframes, PHP, HTML, javascript, etc.) and/or experience in web publishing software or website builders (like WordPress or Webblow) is a definite advantage
