Purchase price establishment

·

Establish price from canvassed,negotiated and
agreed price transaction from supplier.
·

Requiring price quotation or any formal
information on prices and terms agreed upon.
·

Ensuring available price quotation and offer are
valid and official.
Networking

·

Establishes networks in trade associations, Dept. of Agriculture and other Government
Agencies to get more updated with the current trends in the market
·

Work closely with other suppliers and other
producers.·

Market Intelligence Data are compiled and analyzed .
·

Coordination with appropriate government and
private offices regarding importation of raw materials is performed
Competitive Intelligence
Analysis

·

Coordinates with Marketing and Technology
Deployment for possible product development and enhancement opportunities
·

Coordinates with Sales group regarding
collection of competitor samples for evaluation
·

Coordinates with QA, Technology Deployment, CSD
and Production departments regarding
product specifications and standards
·

Regularly monitors competitive advantage and innovation of products and competitor
Income over material cost (IOMC)
analysis and optimization
·

Compare total formulation cost using previous
month’s volume vs total formulation using current month’s forecast to get the
impact of change in product mix.
·

Compare total formulation cost using previous
month’s projected costs vs total formulation cost using current projected costs
to get the impact of change due to raw material cost.
·

Run multi-mix optimization for each raw material
with restriction to get the total cost and compare it with the total costs
without the restrictions.
·

Report the impact of change in raw material matrix,
nutrient specifications and reformulation.
·

Calculate per product, per farm, per plant and
per country IOMC.
·

Proposes and/or recommends actions to increase
profitability and/or volume based on result of IOMC.
Sales training
·

Develop training modules based on the recognized
training needs of sales group.
·

Implement training program.
·

Evaluates effectiveness of the training program
and redesigns if necessary.Trade partners’ development
·
Conduct on farm visits to monitor performance of
our products and/or competitor products.·
Conduct supplier site audit to evaluate and
recommend changes for a more effective system.Administrative responsibilities
·
Submits needed reports of the department as
required·
Timely submission of Expense Reports, Cash
Advance Liquidation etc.
Required Qualifications
·
Graduate of any 4 year business/engineering course, depending on the category assigned,
with high average scholastic ratings.
·

Above
average learning aptitude.
·

Above average interpersonal skills.·

At
least one year experience as Buyer Canvasser in a manufacturing set-up. Fresh graduates with above average to
excellent scholastic achievement may be considered for the entry level.
·

Must be
of unquestionable integrity and must exude a positive attitude towards work and
the company
·

Average
English oral, written and communication skills.
·

Computer literate (Windows: Word, Excel)Preferred Qualifications
·

Graduate
of Engineering (Industrial,Material Science,Manufacturing or Agricultural),
Economics or equivalent.
·

High
average learning aptitude.
High average interpersonal skills.

·

Two to
three years experience in Supply Chain Management/Operations Management is
preferred.
Preferably in Supervisory level

·

Excellent oral, written and communications
skills.·
