About The Role
Under the direction of the Deputy Mobilization Director, the Member Engagement Coordinator will recruit for, run, and assess regular events like phonebanks and text banks to help volunteers plug into anti-corruption campaigns across the country.

This role is responsible for managing RepresentUs’ phone and SMS volunteering events In this role, the organizer will create trainings and opportunities for volunteers to take action consistently. This is a unique opportunity for someone who is detail-oriented, loves logistics, is comfortable with technology and training, and loves interacting with people.

Location is flexible, and we currently allow staff to work from home during COVID-19 for safety.
What You’ll Be Doing

Manage Represent Us’ overall distributed phone and SMS strategy, working in conjunction with the Deputy Mobilization Director to set and define goals for the phone and SMS program.
Manage the weekly phone and SMS calendar, making sure campaigns are built, calls are made, and results are recorded.
Report on the success of the program in weekly, monthly, and quarterly reviews.
Develop guides and training materials.
Under the direction of the Deputy Mobilization Director, help to define the process and pipeline by which volunteers join the program to begin making calls and texts..
Build processes and structures to recruit, train, manage, and retain volunteers.
Work with existing phone and text bank leaders who make sure phone banking volunteers are having high quality conversations with both supporters and potential supporters.
Assist state campaigns in the creation and implementation of their state-based phone/SMS programs.
Elevate phone calling & texting tool needs, issues, or opportunities to Deputy Mobilization Director.
Execute other responsibilities and tasks as needed.
Skills and Experience

At least 6 months experience working on a field or digital organizing program on a political campaign or with a political organization;
Experience with coordinating volunteers ;
Some familiarity with phone banking tools such as Callhub, Hubdailer, ThruTalk or other phone banking tools;
Familiarity with Slack, Zoom (or equivalent), Google Drive; knowledge of Google Sheets / Excel;
Strong in-person communication and writing skills;
Commitment to working beyond partisanship is required, and past experience working with bipartisan or cross-partisan coalitions is preferred;
Passion for RepresentUs' mission to make America work for everyone, not just the powerful and well-connected;
This is a remote position, and candidates must have consistent access to reliable internet and phone.

This position has less than 10% overnight travel expectations and is eligible for flexible work hour arrangements.

This position is part of the bargaining unit represented by Office and Professional Employees International Union, Local 153 (OPEIU). RUEF voluntarily recognized the union recently and collective bargaining is just getting underway. Therefore, there is not yet a collective bargaining agreement in place.

The est. annual salary range for the Member Engagement Coordinator position is $43,000-$52,000. This is a non-exempt position eligible for overtime.
