Medical Technologist

Performs the following:

- Instructs and prepares examinee for different specimen collection procedures.
- Performs only authorized laboratory procedures according to recognized laboratory standards / SMSI laboratory guidelines.
- Performs quality control of laboratory processes regularly to ensure system accuracy.
- Coordinates timely performance of preventive maintenance and calibration of all laboratory equipment.
- Monitors inventory level of supplies, reagent's barcode for iCLINICALAB and coordinates appropriate requests to superior.
- Keeps logbooks and daily outputs updated and completed on time.
- Prepares SMSI/DOH required monthly summary reports and submits the same to Records Supervisor for appropriate filing to clinic and BHFS respectively.
