Medical Coding Trainer

Job Description:
Assesses training/coaching needs on a project by project basis; Develops training materials and facilitates training sessions; Works with the designated team for system updates and readiness to accommodate project needs; Remains current on medical coding and billing guidelines and auditing protocols; Abides by the Standards of Ethical Coding as set forth by the American Health Information Management Association and adheres to official coding guidelines; Performs miscellaneous job-related duties as assigned; Participates in testing and training as required by the Company; Travel is required for training based on project to project need Minimum Qualifications:
Must Have's Certification as either a CCS, CCS-P, CPC, CPC-H, CCC or CRN-C At least 3 years of risk adjustment coding experience (HCC, ICD, CPT, E/M etc...) Extensive knowledge of medical billing and payment methodologies, including coding guidelines for ICD-9 Bachelor's degree in related course Must be willing to work in BGC during the assigned shift Advantages but not required: Active nursing license Actual training experience Leadership experience Urgent Hiring!
