The Business Development Officer develops and increases the number of Medical and Allied Network of providers utilized by the Operations team. Does daily ‘CareJet Medical Assistance Representative’ field work in hospitals and other business establishments, promoting the services of CareJet. Promotes medical evacuation capabilities to providers and other entities to generate private case inquiries and leads. Develops business strategies to engage new prospective clients and offer the corporate access program as a service. Maintains good business relationships, contracting and accreditation of all providers and partners. Acts as point of escalation for all provider network issues. Develops cost containment arrangements. Represents the company and leads activities during trainings, conferences, networking opportunities and other activities as identified by superiors. Obtains and follow up leads for business development that result to long-term partnerships.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Sales and Marketing Activities
• Does daily ‘CareJet Medical Assistance Representative’ field work in hospitals and other business establishments, promoting the services of CareJet.
• Promote medical evacuation capabilities to providers and other entities to generate private case inquiries and leads
• Support direct superior in proposals and pitches to acquire corporate and institutional accounts
• Develop business strategies to engage new prospective clients and offer the corporate access program as a service
• Provide sales leads and competitor information as needed and once available
• Work with direct superior to partner with Insurance companies and other assistance companies to generate billable cases
• Represent CareJet in industry or related organizational gatherings to generate interest and preferred partnerships
Customer Service and Provider Relations
• Provides expertise and support to Operations
• Maintain harmonious relationship with all providers, partners and clients
• Expand the network and list of accredited medical, allied medical, aviation, transport and logistic providers
Coordination
• Coordinate with various business units and Finance for all network and provider related activities
• Coordinate and facilitate business development activities
Data Management
• Manage data for provider profiling and documentation
• Maintain and manage provider accreditation documents
• Perform primary or secondary source verification and credentialing for providers
• Assist in project managing an annual aero medical training to provide latest updates on medical and aviation trends
Administrative
• Ensure that business decisions and processes are documented according to CareJet standards
• Plan, execute and contribute to other projects and duties as assigned
• Send weekly and monthly reports of tasks’ progress as identified with direct superior
QUALIFICATIONS:
Competencies and Values:
· Preferred 2 or more years with business development or sales experience, dealing with corporate accounts
· Critical thinking, coordinating, data management and time management skills in a dynamic, fast-paced work environment
· Excellent English and Filipino communication skills: Oral and written
· Ability to handle or prepare quotations, letters, proposals, billing and the like
· Excellent leadership and managerial skills
· Strong planning, forecasting and project management capability
· Ability to solve complex problems and conflicts
· Good interpersonal and communication skills
