Responsibilities: - Responsible for promoting the company’s brands to the public
- Recommend potential avenues for advertising and promotion with little or no cost
- Present ideas and strategies regarding marketing and campaigning the different brands of the company
- Planning and organizing promotional presentations
- Create and deliver press releases, media relations content, case studies, social media content and speaking engagements as needed
- Identify, develop and execute communications strategies for key media contacts and customer references
- Establish marketing and PR contacts with various organizations
- Engage employees and customers to be active and participate in promotional activities
- Attend meetings and represent the company for various marketing and PR activities
- Manage and update social media channels for all the brands for increase in awareness and interaction
- Propose and participate in various events and product exhibits that would be most beneficial to the company’s advertising and promotion
- Prepare monthly reports and planning as required by management
- Other tasks and responsibilities as assigned

In 1972 the company was awarded the exclusive local distributorship of the tournament brand Mikasa balls from Japan. Sonia Trading has grown to become one of Philippines sports' foremost suppliers of premier sporting goods and equipment.
