Title: Marketing Automation Specialist
The marketing system professional will oversee marketing automation utilization, administration, maintenance, and support. The Marketing Automation Specialist is the subject matter expert and lead administrator of the marketing automation platform, defining, developing, deploying, and managing systems, process, and training to drive best practice usage and meet business objectives.
The Marketing Automation Specialist oversees and executes complex platform enhancements and automated marketing programs and supports development and execution of other marketing programs and critical projects that support data management, lead workflow, lead scoring, lead nurturing, and database integrity. You understand how effective campaigns generate interest in our products and services. And how repeated marketing touches will convert prospects to highly qualified marketing leads for a world-class B2B sales force.

Tasks and Responsibilities:

Administer and serve as the expert administrator/user of Pardot marketing automation platform.

Understand end-to-end marketing processes including campaign creation, lead generation, lead scoring, qualification.
Manage and participate in large Marketing and GIS projects (weekly and quarterly) such as enhancements, upgrades or new implementations.
Run technology projects with team end-to-end. Lead all or parts of the functional components projects: developing requirements, building, testing and training strategies.
Anticipate and assess the impact of new requirements on Pardot/Salesforce and all upstream and downstream applications, systems and processes.
Translate enhancement requirements and user requirements into actionable items and updates in the MAP.
Advisor on effective use of marketing automation for business goals.
Design and support automated processes in marketing systems, related integrations and handle ongoing list of activities and improvements within individual projects and across initiatives to increase the scalability and efficiency of the marketing organization.
Participate in day-to-day systems enhancements, integrations and testing. Includes data migrations, system design, configuration changes, etc.
Troubleshoot platform related issues in partnership with marketing, GIS and regional team members
Support the database toolset for customer segmentation, augmentation and insights, data hygiene and synchronization across the MAP and CRM.
Develop and test reports in partnership with the marketing analytics group.
Document and maintain marketing automation platform processes and procedures.
Prepare user documentation and training as needed.
Participate in user meetings and present issues and solutions both verbally and in writing.
Consult marketing teams and establish best practices on campaign creation and execution as it relates to MAP and CRM.
Build positive relationships with business partners, development partners and peers on other multi-functional teams such as Marketing, Sales, GIS and Regional Marketing.

Preferred Educational Background:
Bachelor’s degree required.

Preferred Experiential Background:
3-4+ years Pardot system administration.
2-4+ years Salesforce administration experience.
Pardot certification.
Able to work with accuracy and attention to detail required.
Clear understanding of sales funnel dynamics and how digital marketing impacts the sales cycle.
Demonstrated written and verbal communication and interpersonal skills.
Self-motivated and know when to seek guidance.
Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment where strategies or campaigns can quickly shift as business needs warrant.
Strong functional knowledge of marketing, demand generation and lead management required
Solid functional, feature and admin activity related knowledge plus experience with Pardot Marketing Automation Systems
Deep knowledge of other Marketing systems (Digital Advertising, Data enrichment, etc)
Proactive, creative person with analytical, problem solving, interpersonal, and communication skills with the ability to adapt to changes and be open to new ideas
HTML, CSS, APIs, Javascript, query string knowledge is a plus
