Machine Operator

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Performs all assigned production line operations in an efficient and timely manner.
- Follows strictly all production standard operating procedures and work instructions during production runs.
- Checks the mixer machine/equipment to ensure that it is free from any contaminants and in accordance with established equipment checklists.
- Set the temperature profile of the extrusion machine/equipment in accordance with existing standards required for the product grade being produced.
- Checks to ensure that the temperature of the zone heaters and die hard are set to required levels before the start of the extrusion process.
- Conducts checking to ensure that the mixing and/or extruder machine/equipment is in good working condition, including accessories such as panel blowers, heaters and rotary coolers, etc., from time to time.
- Ensures that the weighing scale and bag closer are in good working condition.
- Performs the daily equipment checklist, both before and after production operations, under the guidance and monitoring of the Production Engineer.
**Qualifications**:

- Minimum high school graduate
- Preferably with previous direct work experience in production operations in an industrial manufacturing company
- Physically fit and healthy; able to lift heavy items
