Logo Design Needed For Subscription Coffee Company

We are running aCOMPETITIONto help us create the logo for our new brand and start up!
Currently in the planning stages, we are needing our logo to help visualise our aims as well as add a touch of professionalism to our materials.
The name of our company is the 'Skull Cove Coffee Co.' and we aim to be the first not for profit coffee subscription service, delivering ethically sourced, single origin: Fairtrade, Rainforest Alliance and Organic coffee from around the world. Each bag sold/subscribed to every month will result in one tree being planted with the 'One Tree Planted' group as well as all remaining profits going to the countries where we source our coffee from to help benefit the local communities with various projects such as education etc.
Therefore, we need our logo - so the brief ...
We like simplicity in order to lead to strong brand recogintion and one that leaves room to evolve. Think @petespiratelife (check out their logo on Instagram with that tag and you'll get an idea), that's the sort of thing we're after - we like the pirate theme, hence our name - Skull Cove Coffee Co.
