Logistics Manager

Philippine-based HR Solutions company Lennor Metier is in partnership with one of the leading multinational agribusiness company to recruit for an accomplished Logistics Manager
The position will be based in Makati City, Philippines.
Job Summary
The position is fully responsible for supervising the distribution of materials and goods within the business
Responsibilities
Responsible for the company’s commercial operations including but not restricted to contracts execution and warehouse management and supply chain logistics to support local trading and distribution business.
Monitor schedules for upcoming shipments of bulk commodities and container vessels.
Manage every step of the importing process, including customs clearance, quarantine inspections, compulsory inspection, and other documentaries/regulatory requirements
Coordinate domestic logistics and movement of goods for and within the Philippine market.
Assist and advise management and/or commercial team of any potential risk exposure relating to the execution of contracts.
Liaise with suppliers, sellers and buyers, ports, ship agents, logistics companies, inspection companies, insurance companies, third-party service providers and concerned parties on logistics and operational matters.
Maintain contracts/vessel files for audit/tax/legal purposes and keep records of all commercial activities, documenting procedures, guidelines, and changes in procedures for records.
Qualifications
A Bachelor’s degree in supply chain management, logistics or business administration
With at least 6 years of solid experience in trade execution
Sound understanding of trade terms and practices including Gafta, Incoterms
Working knowledge and experience of importing agricultural commodities into the Philippines.
Working knowledge and experience of Philippine domestic logistics.
Experience in Distribution Network Studies, Direct Import/DC Bypass other logistics improvement projects.
Strong communication and ability to build cross-functional relationships
