Logistics Head

- plans organizes and controls delivery of finished goods following the efficiency and quality standards set for the delivery process
- prepares, checks and reviews truck assignments to achieve lowest cost per trip
- monitors and reports the performance of trucking subcontractors versus agreed standards
- receives all Delivery receipts to ensure that these are properly filled out, complete with Certificates of Compliance and Mill Certificate when required and contain all necessary signatures before release of document and after delivery for submission to the Sales and Marketing Department
- gathers and reports information regarding competitors' deliveries, jobsite conditions and other relevant information sourced from trucking personnel to aid in determining level of service required
- conducts meetings with trucking subcontractors' personnel to ensure that basic rules on courtesy to customers, timeliness of delivery, cleanliness and security are followed
- performing other related tasks that may be assigned by supervisor
