Job Responsibilities:
• Ensures that the preparation and packaging chain as well as its logistical follow-up are well handled.
• Constantly looks for suppliers (carriers, manufacturers, etc.).
• Responsible for inventory control and the receipt and shipment of products (to customers while respecting the delivery deadlines imposed on him/her).
• Responsible for after-sales follow-up and generates reports.
• Receives and checks deliveries to ensure that the correct amount and type of stock is delivered.
• Signs delivery notes upon receipt of shipments.
• Unpacks items and arranging these on shelves, if needed.
• Prepares our clients' orders by gathering and loading stock.
• Ensures that the facility remains clean, sanitary, and well-organized.
• Reports all breakages and spills.
• Offers assistance to other staff in the department during lulls in your day.
Job Requirements:
• Bachelor's degree in logistics, supply chain, customs administration, business, or related field
• Prior experience as a logistics assistant
• Experience in FMCG/Retail is an advantage
• Sound knowledge of shipping processes and metrics
• Ability to handle and maneuver fragile stock with ease
• Good communication, memorization, and teamwork skills
• Outstanding organizational and investigative abilities
• Capacity to perform your duties diligently, particularly during stressful periods
• Physically fit and mobile
