Laboratory Analyst

Job Description
Perform analytical tests based on approved standard operating procedures
Prepares analytical reagents and laboratory samples needed to conduct analysis
Verify analytical results using control charting and other statistical methods provided
Encodes validated analytical results in laboratory information management system program
Assists the Laboratory Chemist in maintaining the integrity of laboratory equipment and apparatus
Support the department in attaining stable conformance with the national and international standards and policies, maintenance of Quality Management System, and third-party accreditation
Assists the Laboratory Chemist in monitoring inventory of laboratory consumables
Performs other related duties as may be assigned either in support of department goals or his/her professional growth programmed by Laboratory Manager and higher

Job Qualification
Must be a graduate of BS Chemistry, BS Chemical Engineering, BS Pharmacy or any related course with PRC Laboratory Technician or Chemist license
Minimum of 1-2 years working experience in analytical laboratory or related field
Fresh graduates are welcome to apply (must pass licensure exam)
Resume and Transcript of Records (TOR) or Copy of Grades
Knowledge in accreditation standards is an advantage
Good written and verbal communication skills
Can work in weekends and on shifting schedule whenever required
