About the job
Reporting to the Kitchen Production Manager, this TEAM LEAD role is responsible for the development of the IKEA business in his/her respective area of responsibility: Kitchen Production. He/She strives to make people smile while providing irresistible food offers in a welcoming atmosphere that gives the customers a good reason to return again.
Your assignment
· You ensure the daily operational routines and actions set out by your manager for the area are implemented;
· You work proactively to avoid bottlenecks and consistently improve customer satisfaction;
· You ensure that the IKEA Quality and Food Safety Policies and routines are followed;
· You lead by example and support and coach your colleagues on the job so they can meet the needs of our customers and grow professionally;
· You are passionate about your products and actively learn about their content, origins and other benefits;
· You have an overview of the store business plan and IKEA Food action plans, and you contribute to your area’s action plan by supporting your manager in implementing it with the team;
· You challenge costs by working in a lean, simple, cost-conscious way, using and sharing good examples and encouraging the team to discover smarter ways of working.
Qualifications
Your profile
· You have at least 3 years relevant experience of working in a leadership role managing a large team in a fast-paced kitchen production environment;
· You have experience of working with a KPI-driven action plan and are knowledgeable in food safety (HACCP) guidelines;
· You have good communication and interpersonal skills, able to lead, train, influence and collaborate with others;
· You are sales-driven, cost-conscious and passionate about food and people.
Additional Information
This role requires flexibility in work hours, depending on store operational requirements. Working on public holidays and weekends.
Temporary work location will be at the 17th Floor, No. 8 Rockwell Building, Hidalgo Drive, Makati City.
