Responsibilities: Junior Developer – IM-First or Impulse Applications develops, implements, maintains, and supports end-user systems. Junior Developer – IM-First or Impulse Applications is responsible for writing new applications programs of simple to moderate complexity and scope. Junior Developer – IM-First or Impulse Applications develops, and modifies existing application programs. Junior Developer – IM-First or Impulse Applications is also responsible for following the Ingram Micro chosen applications development standards and methodologies. Junior Developer – IM-First or Impulse Applications works under senior supervision within the guidelines given for delivery of technical work assignments. Requirements: Education: A Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Science and Math or related discipline with an IT emphasis is required. Open for fresh graduates with related course as mentioned can be considered. Or, with one (1) year work experience in programming using the basic language pertinent to the position. Experience: Knowledge of: Pertinent programming language and pertinent operating system. Skill in: Converting specifications and procedures of moderate complexity into application and program solutions. (Applicable to 1-2 year experience only). Basic knowledge of Microsoft Office, Visio and Project desired. For IM-First Applications: Required skills in the following open systems programming: Microsoft C/C++ and Visual Studio, Unix/Linux C, Oracle Database, and Unix/Linux scripts. Experience in MicroFocus Cobol for Unix/Linux will be an added advantage For Impulse Applications: Required skills in Basic COBOL programming will be an advantage
