The opportunity Working in a collaborative and diverse Finance team, you will report directly to the Finance Manager and provide support predominantly within the Accounts Payable function. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone looking to build their experience in a supportive and high-performing team. \n What you'll be doingPerform a range of tasks within the Accounts function includingAccounts payable: process invoices, purchase orders, payments and liaising with suppliersAccounts receivable: collection (minimal)Administer Accounts email (predominantly supplier invoices and requests)Supplier statement reconciliationsProvide ad hoc support across the team as requiredConduct other value-add analysis, investigations and ad hoc projects and tasks Documenting policies, procedures and manuals The ideal toolboxAccounting or Business Degree with major in AccountingHands on full function accounts experienceSound technical financial accounting and reporting skills with exposure to ensuring compliance in a regulatory framework (including familiarity with Australian GST)Strong Excel skills required - must be able to navigate and edit workbooks. Must be able to perform reconciliations in Excel using data sourced from different systems in different formatsExperience with NetSuite (highly desirable) or other online accounting softwareGood written and spoken English Strong problem solving ability - generating and recommending solutions will add enormous value Task management skills and ability to create and follow processes must be exceptionalProactive with a 'can do' attitude and willingness to learn new thingsMust have very strong attention to detail completing all work in a timely manner and managing stakeholder expectations well at all timesAn interest in e-commerce and/or the pet sector would be beneficial
