I. JOB SUMMARY
Responsible for performing operational maintenance and to perform a variety of general services support duties related to the operation of the computer system. Assist with the day-to-day operation of the human resources functions and duties - in some or all of the following functional areas: departmental development, employee relations, training and development, benefits & compensation, performance management, recruitment & selection.
II. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
A. IT Support
1. Monitor and maintain Local Area Network (LAN) and internet connection
2. Handle incoming help requests from end uers via both telephone and on site in a courteous manner
3. Oversee all user setups and ensure the effective installation and use of their application and functionality.
4. Organize files and folders at Adan server; assign user's permission whether user can modify or apply read-only mode.
5. Document all pertinent end-user IT concerns and update asset inventory
6. Prioritize and schedules IT issues/problems.
7. Assist in Testing and evaluating new technology.
8. Prepare spreadsheet formula and macro programming.
9. Handle input and output data with due care for integrity and confidentiality.
10. Perform problem reporting and assistance on various systems for departmental users.
11. Work on and complete all the trouble shooting of all computer operational problems.
12. Maintain and update applicable records including user lists and equipment inventories as well as records of breakdown, troubleshooting done for all units.
13. Comply with plant safety and housekeeping practices/standards as well as fire prevention rules.
14. Perform other related tasks that may be assigned from time to time.
B. HR-Administrative Support
Communication Services
1. Assist in operating PABX telephone system and ensure the proper maintenance of the same by liaising with PLDT and coordinating with Plant Engineering department for any related complaints, defect/breakdown of the telephone equipment.
2. Assist and supply accurate information to inquiring callers; take and write down messages and relay messages on time.
3. Assist in validating PLDT statements of account to determine proper charges to cost centers.
Human Resources
1. Assist in the recruitment process for manpower requirements including requirements for casual and project-based employees (liaising with manpower agencies). Recruitment activities shall include sourcing of applicants, scheduling of interviews by department heads, sending background reference checks of qualified applicant(s), scheduling of pre-employment requirements, medical examination, etc. Ensure completion of requirements for potential candidates for hiring.
2. Prepare and assist in conducting orientation of newly-hired employees for safety, including casual employees.
3. Assist the HR Officer/Manager in HR functions such as training and development, performance management, employee relations, job evaluation, etc.
4. Involvement in ISO requirements, assisting HR - Admin Officer in all ISO - related requirements.
III. JOB DIMENSION
1. Server, computer parts and equipment for all workstations.
2. 100% Compliance to Safety, Environmental, Fire Hazard and Housekeeping Guidelines.
3. Compliance to safety, security, rules & regulations pertaning to his function as LAN Administrator.
4. Operation and proper maintenance of all company computer equipment.
5. Strict observance of working hours, punctuality and attendance as well as adherence to company rules and regulations.
IV. QUALIFICATIONS
A. Essential Competencies
1. Must be a graduate of computer engineering, programming, or other related course.
2. Must have at least 2 years of hands-on system operations experience.
3. Must have at least 2 years of work related experience either in computer networking, LAN administration; as well as in corporate communications related field.
4. Must be physically fit and must have no allergies to chemicals.
5. Good oral and written communication skills.
6. Has the willlingness to take on HR-Administrative responsibilities; or has potentials to be trained in this area.
B. Desirable Competencies
1. Preferably a Computer Engineering or Computer Applications graduate.
2. Organized with strong coordinating skills and can work with minimum supervision.
3. Above average oral and written communication skills.
4. Hardworking and keen on details.
5. Adequate knowledge in industrial safety, pollution control and environmental restrictions.
6. Knowledgeable in all facets of human resources, an advantage.
