IT Administration and Support for Taipei Site and for the APAC Region where necessary
Position/Assignment Summary

Your primary responsibility is the IT technical support of approximately 100 employees and contractors at the Taipei, Taiwan location. You will work in collaboration with the corporate ServiceDesk team and other Field Service & Systems Administrator staff in Toulouse, Issy-Les-Moulineaux, Richmond, and Atlanta, and when needed, with remote users throughout the world. You will also work closely with and provide technical skills to the Corporate Network & Data Center Operations Team.

Assist in user support, both for hardware and applications, and provide assistance to the team for IT projects. This includes hardware setup, application installation, and the maintenance of WAN / LAN / Wireless / Internet configuration. This involves working within the Corporate ServiceDesk and Network & Data Center Operations Teams.
Key Accountabilities/Statement of Work

1. Primary Level 3 technical support in a 24/7 operational environment
2. Assist in purchasing, install, test, operate, upgrade, and maintain hardware, software and computer room equipment.
3. Install, monitor, and troubleshoot applications on user’s PCs in the Microsoft and Linux environments
4. Provide assistance to LAN / WAN / Wireless networks, support remote access, security, and virus protection
5. Create / modify / de-provision network accounts based on HR-initiated work requests
6. Manage and maintain network printers, Voice-over-IP phones/voicemail, conference and meeting rooms
7. Manage PC / computer accessories / supplies stock, software license distribution, and issue procurement requests as needed and provide input into the quarterly and yearly expense planning process for anticipated purchases
8. Provide general assistance to the rest of the IT & Systems organization, including being the ‘remote hands’ for all Data Center Infrastructure work with our Network team. This also includes VMWare vCenter Administration
9. Assist in configuration of new deployments as well as upgrades and retirement of existing systems
Required Education, Experience and Competencies

1. Hands-on experience in a multi-faceted technical role
2. Excellent knowledge of Microsoft Windows; Linux knowledge would be an asset
3. Experience with various application packages, such as Microsoft Office, IIS, Exchange, Active Directory, and anti-virus tools
4. Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills
5. Good communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills – good to fluent English required
6. Ability to prioritize, work in a “hands on” fashion, meet deadlines, approach work with rigor in administration and management, and work well under pressure
7. Strong customer orientation, ability to multi-task, and proclivity to thrive in a fast-paced team environment where tight deadlines are being met
8. Ability to work both independently and as a valued member of a team
9. Working knowledge with VMware infrastructure and operations.
Desired Education, Experience and Competencies (optional)

1. Bachelor's degree or equivalent with preferred major in Information Technology
2. 10+ years’ experience working within a Windows network environment.
3. Experience with end point management – client software deployment.
4. Experience supporting MacOS and iOS clients under Active Directory (optional)
5. Knowledge of Linux (optional)
