Manage IT staff by recruiting, training and coaching employees, communicating job expectations and appraising their performance
- Applies significant knowledge of industry trends and developments to improve service to our clients.
- Reviews work of development team.
- Managing and reporting on allocation of IT budget
- Providing direction for IT team members
- Identifying opportunities for team training and skills advancement
- Recommends information technology strategies, policies, and procedures by evaluating organization outcomes.
- Respond to requests received by help desk in a timely manner.
- Provide regular project status and estimates to the management.
- Endeavor to make technology and systems available around the clock, and establish disaster recovery or contingency plans to ensure business continuity.
- Plan the lifespans of all the companies' technologies, including anticipated upgrades and replacements.
- Manage a company's help desk operations and provide beneficial technology solutions.
- Communicate with other departments in the company about business needs.
- Recruit and train technology employees and work with human resources staff on personnel issues.
- Recommend purchases of technology that will increase business efficiency, save money and facilitate corporate expansion.
**Qualifications**
- Bachelor's degree in computer science, information technology, or related field
- Minimum of 5 years' experience in the Information Technology field
- Minimum of 5 years' experience in management
- Ability to work in a high-pressure, deadline-driven environment
- Exceptional communication and reporting skills
- Solid working knowledge in all required software and programming languages
- Outstanding leadership skills and ability to delegate responsibilities effectively
**Job Specifications/Competencies**
- 5 + years of experience in downhole equipment design and/or manufacture
- Ability to communicate across a broad range of technical disciplines
- Strategic thinker
- Project management experience
- Familiarity with the field drilling environments
**Salary**: Php50,000.00 - Php70,000.00 per month
