Job Description:
Develop, design, and execute strategic industry business plans that creates and sustains value for the assigned industry
Build conceptual service blueprints using industry reference models
Develop technology roadmaps applicable to the assigned industry
Understand local and global industry needs, key business drivers, directions, and analyze prevalent market conditions with growth projections
Analyze industry global best business practices using technology and act as an advisor/consultant to customers by providing recommendations on how to improve their business
Collaborate with members of the cross functional business units (i.e. Sales, Pre-Sales, Marketing, Product Management, Service Delivery) to ensure the Industry Business Plan’s overall achievement
Conduct complex analysis in order to identify underserved or unexplored markets, source for or create new market opportunities and expand market share in the assigned industry
Assess existing products and services and recommend new ones applicable to the industry and compare them with competitors
Identify, develop deliver, referenceable use cases and repeatable solutions for the assigned industry
Manage strategic business deals, operations and activities
Suggest measures for improving customer satisfaction and loyalty
Build, encourage and maintain long-term relationships with key customer stakeholders
Manage the Customer Advisory Board
Create and present detailed reports for upper management
QUALIFICATIONS:
Degree in Business Administration, Finance, Information Technology or similar fields.
At least 10-12 years of experience in the specified industry
Has worked for the specified industry thereby attaining industry domain experience or expertise
Experience as a Business Consultant, Business Development or equivalent
Complete understanding of industry processes and market trends.
Solid business acumen supplemented with decisiveness.
Concrete grasp of routine and advanced statistical procedures
Capacity to motivate and influence people to ensure alignment with visions.
Communicative, versatile, and strategic.
Effective networking and interpersonal relationship skills
Strong analytical skills and research skills
