Join our team today and experience firsthand our dedication to supporting People First.What can you expect in an IT Application Architect role with TaskUs:The Director of Corporate Applications shall assume leadership of the functional team, formulating processes, strategies, business plans, and roadmaps, while contributing to the comprehensive execution of departmental activities.
Collaboration with Business Leaders regarding supported applications and key Senior Leadership Team members is expected.
The Director will provide leadership and bear ultimate responsibility for the effective and efficient management of the Corporate Applications team, encompassing HR, Recruitment, Time/Pay, Operations, Workforce, Legal and related functions.Key Responsibilities:Identify process improvement opportunities and deliver applications to meet business needs.
Oversee prioritization, scoping, timelines, and functional implementation of global business applications.
Direct the delivery of technology programs and projects to enhance business process capabilities.
Conduct feasibility studies, project scoping, and planning for business application projects.
Define, plan, and direct the execution of technical projects, balancing scope, time, cost, quality, resources, and risk.
Establish priorities and schedules for business application projects based on stakeholder input.
Develop application and organizational roadmaps to ensure business and service continuity.
Direct the functional team to create, document, and maintain business process documents and job aids.
Guide requirements gathering across departments and ensure proper data logging, access, and analysis for decision-making.
Manage the support process for Business Applications.
Provide insights to inform and lead the development of strategic plan processes.
Assist executive management in setting direction and finding solutions for business opportunities and challenges.
Provide ongoing feedback on project status and issues to managers and executives.
Develop leading data indicators (KPIs) of future business performance.
Develop processes for training new team members, increasing project efficiency, and ensuring quality assurance.
Successfully complete projects through effective organizational dynamics, demonstrating a hands-on, high-energy work ethic and teamwork.
Ensure balanced workloads among team members through cross-training and teamwork.
Provide assistance and support to Corporate application team members.
Required Qualifications:Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or related field, or 15 years of experience in enterprise and business information system architectures, system engineering, project management, and application design/development with increasing responsibility.
Strong knowledge of Business Processes within HR, Payroll, Operations, and Workforce Management.
Experience in resource/budget planning/forecasting and managing expenses.
Proven expertise in Project Management.
Effective people and team management experience.
Experience with a broad range of corporate IT applications.
Strong organizational skills, time management, attention to detail, positive attitude, and the ability to multitask and adapt to changing priorities.
Proven ability to present information, interact effectively, and work with diverse personalities.
Ability to collaborate across business units with diverse work styles to develop system requirements.
Good knowledge of the company's products, services, and application areas.
Experience working as a leader and collaborator in a team-oriented environment.
Experience supporting and providing minor enhancements to the application portfolio.
Proficiency in using configuration management tools, design tools, debugging tools, and other necessary environment-specific tools for application development, testing, and implementation.
Strong analytical skills with the ability to research project-related issues and products.
Experience in Operations Support and IT Service Management; awareness of ITIL standards and best practices.
Can start ASAP or within 30 days.
Education / Certifications:Bachelor's/College Degree in Engineering (Computer/Telecommunication), Computer Science/Information Technology, or equivalent.
