It Analyst 1, Business Systems (Open For It Fresh

**Responsibilities**

**Duty 1: Project Support**
- Attends scope reviews to learn what the project request is all about.
- Converts / interprets engineering-related equations used by the project into understandable logic sheets or statements for the developers and other functional groups.
- Attends emergency/kick-off meetings with other functional groups.
- Provides own work estimates and can negotiate turnaround time within the team.
- Analyses risk and mitigate project circumstances base on impact assessment.
- Creates prototypes, mock-ups using standard project templates and tools for projects without wireframes
- Informs the project lead on changes
- Analyses, prioritizes and recommends all issues and actions needed for software development.
- Gathers and interprets project requirements from stakeholders, which may involve other functional groups.
- Reduces complexity by breaking down large modules to smaller deliverables ready to be assigned to associate developers.
- Performs research and analysis to validate if the detailed solution is the best fit to meet the requirements.
- Updates system requirements
- Updates Project Management Tools for status and updates.
- Coordinates projects with 3rd party IT Vendor and stakeholders.
- Create Test Threads/cases for Testing of the Application update releases (Instrument Advisor, Product Advisor, iStore).
- Performs testing and analyses results of DCA enhancements and issues prior release to production
- Implements the necessary fix or improvement for basic functionalities based on test results
- Sets up testing activities (informing participants, scheduling, gathering results).
- Reports bugs and issues on the development of updates on Digital Customer Applications
- Reviews the objective in comparison to the actual output.
**Duty 2: System Support & Maintenance**
- Analyses system issue and identify root cause and temporary solutions of requests by referring to system requirements
- Identifies long term solution on installation issue requests
- Analyses the requirements reported by the stakeholders.
- Files reports for System and Functional Changes.
- Documents discrepancies or bug details on the system based on requirements to the developers for any System and Functional changes.
- Clarifies information with the developers and stakeholders on the issues/enhancement filed.
- Cascades the New Product Development to the daily support for maintenance.
- Troubleshoots business systems/web issues with the 3rd party vendor and gives feedback to end-users.
- Updates/revises training syllabi, course outlines, lesson plans, and content of existing materials (e.g.
presentations, evaluation tools, etc.)
for all training courses.
- Updates work instructions

**Duty 3: Continuous Improvement and Innovation**
- Identifies continuous improvement project ideas.
- Introduces and tests new technologies to continuously improve the technical capabilities of the team

**Requirements**:
**Education**:

- Bachelor's degree or equivalent (Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Information Technology, Information Systems, Electronics and Communications Engineering or similar)

**Job Related Experience**:

- Open to fresh graduates
- 1.5 years' relevant work experience in the IT field is an advantage (IT Customer Service, Business Systems and Software Testing)
