Job Description The Inventory Management Supervisor is responsible for the day to day activities of Inventory Management Team to maintain accurate inventory and ensuring that all stock movements are properly accounted for and recorded real-time.
Plans and manages Physical Inventory Count through regular cycle count and wall to wall count and releases count results on time.
Organizes meetings with Principal and Operations team related to physical inventory counts and discuss count results, observations, findings, and suggests actions to be taken to address inventory issues.
Leads and monitors reconciliation process to meet target KPI on inventory accuracy.
Ensures that all stock movements are properly documented, recorded, monitored and executed real-time in the system.
Checks, validates, processes, and monitors requests for stock adjustment and that approved requests are transacted accurately and real-time in the system
Closely monitors inventory variances as a result of the Physical Inventory count and ensures that all discrepancies are being reconciled on-time and adjusted in the system, if necessary.
Monitors regularly stock adjustments and damaged stocks and send follow-up emails to Principal or concerned personnel for final disposition.
Evaluates and analyzes inventory level and reports any abnormalities found.
Monitors strictly compliance to Proper Material Handling as defined by the Principal.
Monitors aging of stocks to ensure compliance to First-In, First-Out (FIFO)/ First Expiry, First-Out (FEFO) Policy.
Creates and maintains Material Master in the system.
Prepares inventory-related reports as requested by other departments or by the Principal.
Supervises day-to-day operations of the team, plans team schedules and activities, and monitors Key Performance Indicators
Ensures compliance to policies and procedures
Proposes and implements new processes for continuous improvements.
Monitors performance and supports team to attain individual growth and meet target performance
Performs other tasks that may be assigned by the immediate leader.
Graduate of any 4- year course.
Preferably, degree in Industrial Engineering, Supply Chain, or any related course.
At least 2 years work experience in a supervisory level specializing in Warehousing/Inventory Management
Working knowledge in SAP is required
Preferably with background in ISO/Process Audit
Good Warehouse Practice
