Internal Auditor

Job Description RESPONSIBILITIES Perform financial and operational audits in accordance with the internal audit program.
Assist Audit Director in fulfillment of its duties and responsibilities.
Periodically review and discuss audit findings and other matters as necessary.
Review organizations best practices and records for compliance with established internal policies and procedures.
Make recommendations for improving internal controls, operating efficiency, and the adequacy of bank records and recordkeeping.
Report audit findings and recommendations to appropriate management based on the results of regularly scheduled audits, non-scheduled audits, and at any time when issues need to be addressed by management.
Conduct follow-up reviews of financial, operational, or regulatory compliance deficiencies noted during audits.
Conduct investigations of irregularities discovered by or brought to the auditor?s attention.
Investigate, as requested by Senior Management, fraud, embezzlements.
Perform other duties as required, consistent with the goals, objectives, and responsibilities of the Internal Audit Department and with the approval of the Audit Committee.
Domestic and International travel required.
EXPERIENCE & EDUCATION
Minimum of 5 years internal audit experience.
BS/BA degree in Accounting, Finance or Computer Sciences
QUALIFICATIONS
Strong project management skills
Ability to define deliverables, create and monitor budgets, and project plans, manage resources and specialists for project teams.
SAP, manufacturing knowledge a plus
Intermediate level PC skills with Microsoft office applications
Ability to work with minimal supervision in unstructured situations at domestic or international environments.
Build a professional team atmosphere that focuses on collaboration, accuracy and efficiency.
Ability to work for other audit team professionals in the completion of assignments.
Strong process documentation skills.
Excellent oral and written communication skills.
