Internal Audit - Team Leader

Job Description:
The Audit Team Leader shall lead and perform actual examination, review of operations and accountabilities of each unit concerned and provide supervision over the Internal Auditor.


Lead and perform audit work in accordance with the approved audit program and in a professional manner. Supervise the Internal Auditor and review preliminary audit observations noted during audit fieldwork. Review and revise as necessary the Internal Auditor’s reports before sending to auditees. Record and summarize data on assigned audit segment in acceptable working papers and Prepares detailed reports of audit findings. Hold preliminary discussions of apparent deficiencies with auditees personnel to verify facts and obtain reasons for such apparent deficiencies. Submit preliminary audit draft reports to the Director for Audit for review after completion of each audit engagement. Report to the Director for Audit regularly on the progress and status of each audit engagement. Lead audit exit meetings at the end of audit fieldwork to discuss and clarify audit observations. Coordinate with auditees and ensure smooth and timely completion of audit engagements. Minimum Qualifications:
Graduate of Bachelor's/ College in Accountancy, Internal Auditing, or any Business-related course (CPA Board passer is an advantage) With advantage if Professional License (Passed Board/Bar/Professional License Exam) With background and highly interested in the fields of auditing, quality assurance, compliance or risk management With at least 2-year supervisory experience and can work collaboratively in a team or group 4. Goal-oriented and has positive attitude towards work and life. Willing to travel to different business locations, office sites, and terminals within and outside Metro Manila Proficient in MS Office such as Word, Excel, Powerpoint, Reasonably fluent in Filipino and English languages At least five years of working experience in related field is required for this position Must include two years of relevant audit functions or project management experience
