The Buying Intern is responsible for providing the overall administration support to the whole Buying Team together with Buying Assistants and Buying Encoders. S/he will work closely and effectively with the team to ensure timely and accurate submission, creation and maintenance of reports and building relationship with the key stakeholders. This position requires a detail oriented, proactive, creative person who will be able to work without much supervision.
Responsibilities:
• Providing overall Administration support to the Buying team
• Ensuring data integrity and maintenance
• Handles purchase orders, delivery and shipping management
• Develop and maintain successful supplier relationships
• Build strong relationships with key stakeholders
Requirements:
• Currently taking up Bachelor’s Degree in Business Management, Commerce, Marketing, Fashion or any related field
• Verbal and written communication in English up to a business standard
• Computer literacy, including knowledge of basic software applications and familiarity with the Internet and email communications
• Proficient at Microsoft Excel
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Must excel at multi-tasking and be detail-oriented
• Must possess initiative and a keen sense of responsibility
• Ability to adapt to changing environments and tasks
