Persons hired for this position will be responsible for providing inter-company accounting and reconciliation services to **3M** subsidiaries.
Currently, 3M is deploying ERP (SAP) to the subsidiaries and you would be requested to work in both SAP countries and Legacy system countries during transition period.
This position will work as a liaison with countries and be primary contact from our internal client.
You will report to Accounting operation supervisor and will liaising with relevant parties in GSC and other country finance team.
**Intercompany Analyst **responsibilities will include:
- Responsible for Payable Ledger documents posting (invoice, CM and DM) and posting resolution
- Responsible for issuance of billings to counterparties specifically for China Entities.
- Provide statement of account to intercompany affiliates.
- Consolidation of statement of account for China entities.
- Provide intercompany as well as intra-company accounting and reconciliation services to 3M subsidiaries.
The position will mainly support legacy system countries (Asia Pacific Countries) and expected to be a primary contact from the local finance and supply chain team.
- Settlement of invoices via Glopay.
- Responsible for closing operation for intercompany accounting (Receivable/Payable ledger), prepare journal entries and follow up of differences with subsidiaries.
- Performance of intercompany month-end activities - sample order accrual, GIT accrual, elimination entry for China entities & Hongkong
- Investigation & resolution of Out of Balance accounts.
**Basic Qualifications**:
- Accounting degree and minimum 3 years of working experience in Finance and Accounting area.
- Solid financial accounting and internal control knowledge are required.
- Experience in Shared Service Center in multi-national corporation is preferred
- CPA is an advantage
- Fluent in English
**Preferred Skills**:
- Ability to learn legacy system quickly (AS 400, PeopleSoft)
- Working knowledge of SAP is highly appreciated
- Flexible for new assignment and willingness to learn.
