Description Purpose :The Inside Sales Associate excels at customer relations, is detail oriented and has impeccable organizational skills. The incumbent will play a fundamental role in achieving our ambitious customer acquisition and revenue growth objectives. They will contact potential and existing customers on the phone daily, working with channel partners and generating interest. Our ideal candidate will be a dynamic individual who is driven, career-focused, and enjoys the reward of customer relations, teamwork, problem-solving, and achieving success.
Responsibilities:
Promote Kitco’s refining services
Maintain knowledge of customer environments, options and continuously updating understanding of customer needs
Continuous learning and understanding of our diverse marketplace
Grow commercial sales and prospect businesses
Understand customer needs and requirements
Research potential accounts, identify key players and generate interest
Source new sales opportunities through inbound leads
Follow up on leads (outbound cold calls and emails)
Maintain positive and effective customer relationships
Generate leads through email campaigns, social media, websites, calls, client visits and promotional materials
Maintain customer relationships: responding to questions about ongoing and new services
Monitor sales, tracking Search and Social data and analytics to garner awareness, engagement and adjust accordingly to increase conversions resulting in increased sales
Produce weekly/quarterly progress reports of campaigns related to sales
Follow up with customers to gage customer satisfaction and deliver summary reports
Skills & Competencies:
Positive attitude, outgoing, professional and reliable
Ability to prioritize and complete multiple tasks efficiently
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Proficiency with MS-Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)
Note: Excel expertise should be advanced.
2+ years of experience in customer service or marketing and/or sales position;
Bachelor’s degree preferably in Marketing, Communications or Commerce.
Self-starter and team player who can contribute innovative ideas.
Must be able to speak and write in English and French.
Assets:
Knowledge of formal ERP system. MS Dynamics is an asset
Knowledge or experience with CRM program(s)
Experience with precious metals or Jewelry trade an asset
Any prior experience or contacts in related fields is an asset (Jewelry, Dental, Estate Mgt)
Travel:
