JOB SUMMARY:This position drives revenue growth by identifying and capitalizing on new business opportunities across the organization's strategic business units.
This role focuses on uncovering new markets, developing innovative products and services, and optimizing business channels to support top-line growth, operational scale and the company's long-term strategic vision.SPECIFIC DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIESMarket Penetration and ExpansionConduct targeted market research and competitive analysis to identify high-potential markets, industries and customer segments.Develop and execute strategic market plans, including feasibility studies, risk assessments, and go-to-market roadmaps.Collaborate with cross-functional teams to localize offerings and align operational capabilities with market needs.Track and analyze the performance of new market initiatives and adjust strategies to ensure success and profitability.Sales EnablementStrengthen go-to-market strategies by identifying and nurturing strategic accounts and high-value clients.Collaborate with the sales, marketing, and product teams to align messaging, customer targeting, and value propositions.Build and expand strategic distribution channel partnerships to enhance market reach and scalability.Develop tools, training, and materials to support the sales team in converting leads and increasing win rates.Stakeholder Relationship ManagementCultivate strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders including clients, partners, government agencies, industry associations, and community groups.Act as a key liaison in identifying collaboration opportunities, joint ventures, or partnership models that deliver mutual value.Lead negotiations and manage partnership agreements to align with business objectives and regulatory requirements.Represent the company at industry events, conferences, and stakeholder meetings to build brand visibility and foster trust.EDUCATIONAL BACKGROUNDBachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Economics, Innovation Management, or related fieldMaster's degree in Business Administration (MBA) or related field is an advantageWORK EXPERIENCEMinimum of 5 years of progressive experience in business development, strategic planning, innovation, product management, or corporate venturesProven track record in launching new business lines, scaling startups, or leading product/service expansion initiativesExperience working in cross-functional and multi-business unit environments is preferredTECHNICAL SKILLSMarket research and competitive analysisBusiness modeling and financial forecastingProject management and execution (e.g., agile or stage-gate methodologies)Go-to-market strategy developmentData-driven decision-making and KPI trackingCERTIFICATIONS/LICENSESProject Management certification (e.g., PMP, Agile, Scrum) is a plusCertification in Innovation Management, Business Analytics, or Product Management is an advantageSOFT SKILLSStrategic thinking and business acumenStrong leadership and stakeholder engagement skillsCreativity and entrepreneurial mindsetExcellent verbal and written communicationAdaptability and resilience in dynamic environmentsCollaboration and team-buildingOTHER REQUIREMENTSWillingness to travel for business incubation, market studies, or partnership engagementsStrong understanding of emerging market trends and industry dynamicsAbility to manage multiple initiatives simultaneously under tight timelinesComfortable working in both corporate and startup-like settings
