JOB DESCRIPTION
Position: Information Technology (IT) Assistant

Job Overview:
Information Technology (IT) Assistant support an organization's digital and networking processes. They usually work in a team to install, secure, maintain and update the company's digital assets, networks and systems.

The successful candidate will have a strong understanding of IT principles and the ability to troubleshoot hardware and software problems. The IT Assistant will provide technical assistance to our staff, install and configure hardware and software, and maintain our computer systems

Duties and Responsibilities
Provide technical assistance to staff on hardware and software issuesInstall, configure, and troubleshoot hardware and softwareMonitor and maintain computer systems and networksProvide system administration (CCTV System, biometrics, internet configuration) and maintenanceRespond to and diagnose technical hardware and software issuesResearch and recommend new technologiesCreate and maintain documentation of technical processesFollow up with users to ensure their technical issues have been resolvedBasic knowledge in common electrical components Required Skills and Qualifications: A minimum of 1 year IT support experienceA graduate of Computer Technology/Science or equivalent qualification/ under graduate of BS Computer EngineeringKnowledge of networking and cybersecurityProblem-solving skillsCommunication and reporting skillsA passion for technology and innovationAble to work independently and as part of a teamAble to prioritize tasks and manage multiple projects simultaneouslyKnowledge of Windows and Mac operating systems
